Abstract: We will look at the various ways that the mathematics of curves and surfaces is analogous to that of polygons and graphs (networks of vertices and edges). This analogy is more than coincidental and we will see not only that the same properties that hold for the continuous world also hold for the discrete world but how to use each world to obtain results in the other.
